First things FIRST! What’s your favorite Starbucks drink?
Venti Americano straight up, the more caffeine the better! I’m sort of that sad, grumpy person without it. 🙂

How did you get started? How long have you been in business, etc?
I opened DG in March of 2011 under the guidance of a close college friend who owns her own bridal boutques in Tennessee. There seemed to be a good opportunity to fill the void in FC with a nice salon that sold affordable gowns and the store has definitely been welcomed with open arms!

What’s your favorite thing about your business?
I love seeing the brides and their entourage when they pick up the dress before their wedding day. They all seem so excited and at the same time very at ease and ready for the next step. When you work with a bride and her family for almost a year it’s bittersweet to send them off!

What advice do you have for brides when shopping for a wedding dress?
Bring only the people whose opinion matters to you the most, and if that’s yours then it’s absolutely fine to come alone.

How far out should a bride get her dress?
Start shopping 9 to 12 months before the big day, if possible. If you’re running on a tighter timeline it’s not a problem, but it may limit some of your choices come decision-making time.

Where are you located?
Dora Grace is located in Old Town Fort Collins at 236 Linden Street. We are on the 2nd story above Elliot’s Martini Bar so make sure to look for the big blue sign!

What trends are you seeing in your industry?
We’re still seeing a lot of lace, but the dresses are starting to take on more of a bohemian vibe and we’ve also seen a little bit of “glam” make its way back to bridal which is refreshing.
