I’m so excited for this weekend for so many reasons! I don’t have many plans, but I do have a few good ones! Starting at 10am this morning I’m going to get my hair done at Belle Shea Salon! Let me be vulnerable with you for a minute…She always does an amazing job covering my unsightly grays. And yes. I have them. Many of them.

Next I’m starting a little project to update the coffee table we have in our living room. It’s this white one from IKEA. The goal is to make it look like the picture below. Wish me luck! I have to get the wood, stain, screws, etc! I’ve never stained wood before, any tips for a newbie like me?? Types of wood? Brand of stain?

Ben is skiing for the weekend with a group of friends. So for me that means a girls night/girls weekend! Tonight I’m having a few friends over for dinner and making Chicken Tetrazzini. With all this cold weather and snow, this seems like the perfect dish for a night in! I got the recipe from Cooking Light (which I LOVE!) I know it will be sooo yummy because their recipes are just the best! If you’ve never heard of or checked out Cooking Light, it’s time for you to discover it’s amazing-ness!
